TAKAHASHI, Nobuko (Institute of Human Sciences/Visiting Researcher)
This project is mainly working at university targeted for the community-dwelling elderly. I participate in the project as a steering committee, where I'm responsible for supporting the elderly at several ways such as recruiting supporters and conducting training seminars for supporters. Furthermore, recently, beyond the activity of university, I expand into other regions by cooperating with the public administration of Kita Ward and the Community General Support Center of Sakyo Ward, in Kyoto City. I realize the increase of interest in cognitive rehabilitation activity ( reading aloud, doing arithmetic and communication) from year to year although it is not much interested at the start. I enjoy the project in consultation with members of steering committee.
