Website redesign.

We have completed a redesign of our institute’s website. The main idea behind the new design was to create a site that would present our institute’s research activities in a way that would be easy for anyone to understand.
We have done several things with this goal in mind. First, we have increased the amount of information on research projects and participating researchers.
Second, we will be posting a new column, “Research Highlight” on our website to inform visitors about our research activities.
Third, in order to provide information about our institute’s regular activities to an international audience, we have constructed a framework in which as much content as possible can be posted in both Japanese and English.
Fourth, we have modified the structure of our website in order to make its various types of content easier to access and understand.
Regarding detailed information about our research projects, we plan to have this information presented on individual project websites and we hope visitors find this newly redesigned institute website useful as a rough guide to our various activities. I would like to thank all of those who assisted in this redesign, including professors on the media/public relations committee, staff at the institute’s office, and Jidaikobo Inc. I think there is still room for further improvements, so please contact us if you have any thoughts or opinions about the new design.
